Visions in gold: Klimt’s art on show in Bangkok

FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 01, 2024

‘A Golden Kiss by Klimt’, a mixed media art exhibition in Bangkok’s Phrom Phong neighbourhood, invites visitors to delve into the vision of Austrian symbolist painter, Gustav Klimt.

Klimt was renowned for his use of gold and intricate patterns, which made his portraits stand out and captivate viewers. His famous portraits reflect the beauty and character of humans in deep and emotional ways.

“The Kiss” presents the romantic relationship of a couple amidst a glittering atmosphere of golden clothes and a colourful flower field, while “Adele Bloch-Bauer I” represents a Jewish millionaire clad in luxury golden clothes and accessories.

Visitors can experience Klimt’s art while interacting with his works in a way that awakens all five senses, making them feel as if they are part of the artist’s creative process.
