Old Bangkok comes alive with light shows, digital arts

Spectacular light shows and digital arts are bringing Bangkok’s old neighbourhoods in Phra Nakhon district to life, while offering inspiration to visitors there.

“The Awakening Bangkok 2024” is being held from 6pm to 11pm until November 17 this year with four themes – sustainability, prosperity, inclusivity and positivity.

Some 35 artworks by Thai and foreign designers are being showcased at Yodpiman River Walk, Museum Siam, Saranrom Park, Bangkok City Hall, and Romaneenart Park.

Interested people can travel to the event venues by simply taking the MRT train ride to Sanam Chai and Sam Yot stations. Admission is free.
