A viral clip shows a Phi Phi Island officer using a trolley to escort two intoxicated female tourists—a 23-year-old German and a 19-year-old Australian—back to their accommodation after they were unable to walk.
Pol. Sgt. Saneh Juealaong, on patrol on November 29, borrowed a goods trolley to transport the women safely, as the island only has pedestrian pathways.
This act is part of the “You Drink, I Drive” program, ensuring tourists’ safety.
For two years, Phi Phi police have been assisting intoxicated visitors, gaining praise for their dedication to public service and ensuring safety on the island.
