Thanks to this trend, the capybara mascot from China, “Tuntunzai,” is hosting its first pop-up event, themed around a bakery factory, to win the hearts of people in Thailand. The event runs until May 26.

Located on the ground floor of the Emsphere shopping complex in Bangkok's Phrom Phong neighbourhood, the event features several highlights, particularly a large Tuntunzai statue dressed as a chef, holding pastries in both hands.

Visitors can also shop for exclusive, limited-edition mascot merchandise at the designated sales area. Promotions are available for shoppers who make a purchase of 499 baht or more.

Additionally, Tuntunzai has collaborated with several brands, including Naixue Tea, Swensen’s, The Coffee Club and Eric Kayser, offering creative snacks and beverages themed around the capybara mascot.
