Thailand hosts “KAWS:HOLIDAY” for the first time at Bangkok’s Sanam Luang

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) is energising the tourism scene by supporting the world-renowned art exhibition “KAWS:HOLIDAY THAILAND,” inviting both locals and international visitors to experience this global masterpiece firsthand.

The iconic COMPANION sculpture by internationally acclaimed artist Brian Donnelly, known as KAWS, stands at 18 metres tall. Visitors can marvel at the giant COMPANION seated on Earth, gently holding the Moon, with a smaller COMPANION resting on its lap.

Set against the stunning backdrop of the Grand Palace, the installation represents the interconnectedness of all things, the passing of wisdom through generations, and the harmony between tradition and modern creativity.

This monumental artwork takes centre stage at Sanam Luang, one of Bangkok’s most historic landmarks, open daily from 7am to 10pm until Sunday, May 25.
