Revellers gathered in Bangkok on Sunday to take part in Thailand's largest-ever pride parade.
Dressed in dazzling outfits, participants transformed the downtown area into a vibrant sea of rainbow colours.

The lively procession began at the National Stadium and made its way past iconic landmarks including the Bangkok Art and Culture Centre, Siam Discovery, Siam Center, Siam Paragon, and Wat Pathum Wanaram, before culminating at Ratchaprasong intersection near CentralWorld.

Spanning approximately three kilometres, the parade took place from 2pm to around 6pm.

Held under the theme born this way, the event was organised by the community-led Bangkok Pride in collaboration with the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration.

This year’s celebration marks the largest pride parade in Bangkok’s history and comes on the heels of the historic passing of the same-sex marriage bill in January.
