FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 27, 2026

The Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok celebrates 150 years of excellence, marking not just a milestone, but a deep reflection on its role in shaping the culture of five-star service at the heart of Bangkok.
.
Under the theme "Unveiling Our Origins," the hotel invites guests to explore its rich history through historical archives, rare photographs, and contemporary exhibitions, highlighting its evolution into a global hub for writers, travellers, and artists.
.
In honour of this milestone, the hotel launches The Oriental Book, chronicling its 1800s origins along the Chao Phraya River, and a fine jewellery collection by renowned designer Margot McKinney, inspired by the hotel’s iconic lobby and chandeliers.
.
The celebration continues with Light of Bangkok, a fragrance created by Parfums Dusita, blending lemongrass, jasmine, cananga, and sandalwood to evoke Thai warmth and modern charm.
.
Additionally, the first-ever collaboration in Asia with Sporty & Rich introduces a capsule collection in the hotel’s signature celadon green tone, merging health-conscious design with simplicity and cultural heritage.
