EM District turns Sukhumvit into a Songkran landmark

EM District is turning the heart of Sukhumvit into one of Bangkok’s most vibrant Songkran destinations, as Emporium, EmQuartier and Emsphere join forces for “EM District Thai Hansa Maha Songkran: A Summer of Thai Celebration.”

Blending the charm of Thai culture with contemporary entertainment and lifestyle experiences, the event promises a fresh and lively way to celebrate Thailand’s most beloved festival.

Among the highlights is the longest water tunnel on Sukhumvit Road, offering a fun way to cool off during the summer heat. The celebration also features performances by popular artists and mini concerts set against dazzling light, colour and sound.

Meanwhile, decorative installations across EM District showcase the theme “Only in Thailand”, reinterpreting local wisdom and Thai handicrafts through contemporary design while creating stylish photo spots throughout the area.

The event also brings together some of Thailand’s finest products, flavours and craftsmanship in “KUDTHAI 2026: Only Thailand’s Best Charm”, where visitors can shop, taste and experience Thai identity in one place, from fresh produce sent directly by farmers and local communities to traditional Thai spirits, handicrafts and regional food.

Another highlight is “Little Songwat”, which brings signature food favourites from Songwat to Sukhumvit for the first time, alongside wellness and beauty must-haves from leading brands for the summer season.

EM District Thai Hansa Maha Songkran: A Summer of Thai Celebration runs from April 10–15, 2026, across EM District. KUDTHAI 2026: Only Thailand’s Best Charm and Little Songwat run from April 8–19, 2026, at Quartier Avenue, G Floor, EmQuartier, and EM Market Hall, G Floor, Emsphere.
