Up close and cosy with Zhou Mi

Super Junior member Zhou Mi travels solo to Bangkok later this month for a fan meeting dubbed “The Day with Zhou Mi” at M Theatre on New Phetchaburi Road on October 28 at 5pm.

The 32-year-old Chinese artist is best known for his dancing, elegant appearance, warm smile and gained a major following while working with Super Junior-M. 
Born in Wuhan, Zhou Mi made a name for himself in the Chinese entertainment scene by taking part in competitions. While in contention for the final round of CCTV’s “Challenging the Host”, a national televised competition for aspiring MCs, he received an offer from SM Entertainment and decided to go to Korea. He won the grand prize at the SM UCC Star Audition and joined Super Junior-M, Super Junior's third official sub-unit, with Henry Lau for “Santa U Are The One”.
Zhou Mi made a cameo appearance in CCTV-2’s drama, “Stage of Youth” in 2009 but didn’t start acting seriously until 2012. His first role was as the main character in the idol drama “When Love Walked In”. In March 2013, he released a travel scrapbook titled “Thai Perfect”, which was published in Taiwan by China Field Publishing. He also appeared in a cameo role for Vincent Fang's movie “Rhythm of Rain”. In 2014, he became a new member of the ballad group SM The Ballad, initially formed by SM Entertainment in 2010 and performs the Chinese version of “Blind” on the group’s second album, “Breath”. 
He debuted as a solo artist in 2014, releasing the mini album “Rewind” with songs in both Korean and Chinese and featuring Exo’s Chanyeol on the raps. The second mini album “What’s Your Number?” was released in 2016 showing the colourful bright side in a funky dance retro song.
He released the Chinese single “I Don’t Care”, the lyrics of which encourage individuals to overcome their struggles and find resolutions with others.
