Culture Minister Sukumon Kunpluem said that, at 4pm on April 9, the public can offer scentedwood flowers for cremation at five spots around Sanam Luang – three in the North of Sanam Luang, one at Chang Pier and one opposite the Statue of Mother Earth Squeezing Her Hair – as well as 46 Bangkok temples and at 736 temples upcountry.
She said the Department of Fine Arts has published two million leaflets on the princess’s biography, works and the royal crematorium information to hand out to the public at the floweroffering pavilions nationwide on April 9, as well as to those visiting the crematorium on April 1117.
