Her Majesty has been put on intravenous medication and ordered to suspend all duties and rest for a brief period.
Royal physicians are monitoring her condition.
Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra, upon her return from Europe last night, immediately proceeded to the hospital and presented a bouquet to Her Majesty through Chirayu Isarangkun Na Ayuthaya, deputy secretary-general of the Royal Household Bureau.
