TIECA boosts help for Thai students abroad

The Thai International Education Consultants' Association (TIECA) has signed an agreement with education promotion agencies from five native English-speaking countries to strengthen their work together in helping Thai students prepare to study abroad.

To mark its 22nd anniversary, TIECA recently signed the agreement with agencies in the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and the US to strengthen their relationship and collaboration of more than 20 years. The agreement will enhance TIECA’s trustworthiness and professionalism among Thai parents and guarantee quality of education is provided to Thai students studying in those countries.

The agencies will help students by acting as their counsellors in planning. They will help students to choose what suits their needs, saving time and money when the students prepare for their study abroad.
Over the past 22 years, around 300,000 students
have pursued education overseas with counselling from TIECA’s member agencies.
Each year, around 7,500 students have enrolled in long term educational programmes and around 7,000 others in short courses overseas.
