Body of Rayong activist Sutthi to be sent for autopsy today

The body of activist Sutthi Atchasai was sent from Rayong's Muang district yesterday for an autopsy at the Central Institute of Forensic Science in Bangkok, after relatives began to doubt their initial conclusion that he had committed suicide.

Results of the autopsy will be announced by forensic scientist Khunying Porntip Rojanasunan in seven to 14 days.
The family has doubts because the gunshot wound was in his right temple while Sutthi was left-handed. Three shots were also fired in his car.
Forensic officials were sent to inspect the scene and conducted a simulation on Saturday of what may have occurred, and the autopsy will be carried out today.
The cremation ritual is due to be held in Rayong tomorrow at 4pm.
