Defence volunteer shot dead in Pattani
A village defence volunteer riding a motorcycle en route to taking a guard shift was shot dead on Friday night in Pattani’s Thung Yang Daeng district.
Defence volunteer Seulaemae Shiva, 52, was shot at by two men on motorcycle, resulting in him sustaining gunshots to the torso. He was pronounced dead upon arrival at a hospital. Police suspect that the shooting was part of the ongoing unrest in the region.
