15 million people eligible for state welfare this year

As many as 15 million people may be eligible to receive state welfare support, as the Finance Ministry on Thursday kicked off a new round of state welfare registration for 2017.

Eleven state agencies on Thursday signed a memorandum of understanding to collaborate on welfare registration and the screening of eligible persons.

“About 9 million farmers are expected to register with the BAAC,” said Apirom.
