Prince continues family tradition of service by volunteering at temple

Prince continues family tradition of service by volunteering at temple

HRH Prince Dipangkorn Rasmijoti has begun work as a volunteer at a Buddhist temple in Germany.

In a music video, the 12-year-old royal was seen cleaning the Muttodaya Temple and offering food to monks.
He was wearing a black polo shirt, scarf and a cap that his father, HM King Maha Vajiralongkorn, had given to him.
The monarch has granted permission for the release of the video showing his young son’s volunteering services at the temple.
The video presentation tells how the prince came up with the idea of going to the temple himself. He was also quoted as saying that “when he comes to Thailand, he will do the same thing”.
The video also shows pictures of the current King accompanying his parents to various corners of Thailand to carry out royal works.
Following in the footsteps of his parents, the current monarch has approved a volunteer project to encourage people to do good deeds. This project is dedicated to his father, HM the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej.
