Updated: Seven bodies found, one still mission in Nan mudslide

Rescue workers dug up the bodies of seven people who were buried in a mudslide that hit a village in the Bo Kluea district of Nan province on Saturday morning.

Prasit Dusneewong, an official of the Bo Klua district, said rescue workers were still trying to locate the body of one person who lived in one of the four houses buried by the mudslide in the Ban Huay Khab village.
Prasit said the mudslide, triggered by hours of heavy rains, occurred at 6.10am. Eight villagers were reported missing. Rescuers used bulldozers and needed almost five hours to dig up the bodies of the seven.
