Top UK college opens A Levels programme in Bangkok

Brighton College Bangkok is opening an A Levels programme in August next year, seeking to replicate its success in the United Kingdom and Middle East.

In the UK, Brighton College regularly achieves the highest A Level examination grades of any co-educational school, with 98.5 per cent receiving A*-B, and an outstanding track record of entrance to Ivy League universities, and Oxford and Cambridge, said the college on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, sister colleges in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain have been judged to be “outstanding” across all relevant areas by the United Arab Emirates Education Council, it said.
Brighton College Bangkok, located on the new highway between Srinakarin and Krungthep Kreetha, is one of the few British curriculum institutions in Bangkok to offer A Levels, a range of qualifications designed to provide the best academic preparation for the world’s top universities.
Pupils aged 16-18 will have a wide choice of subjects on offer and will work closely with specialist teachers and tutors to prepare for university application.
“We are excited to offer A Levels as our pre-university qualification. A Levels are recognised at leading universities worldwide and allow pupils to thrive in their favourite subjects," said Vanessa Robitaille, head of the college.
More insight on the A Level programme will be shared at an event at Brighton College Bangkok’s Performing Arts Centre on November 19.
