Ornnicha Krongyut, a master’s degree student in pharmaceutical chemistry and natural products, impressed the adjudicators at the Second International Cosmetic Congress held in Antalya from October 28-30 with her research paper “Anti-cellulite product development: Anti-adipogenesis and lipolysis induction of Kaempferia parviflora”.
With 300 people attending the conference, whose theme was “Green Cosmetics”, Sukunya Srijumpa, a graduate student in biomedical sciences, also won an award for her paper, “Incorporating oil extracted from Myristica fragrans houtt with dendrimers in applications for antibacterial skin pathogens and antioxidant activities”.
Faculty of Associated Medical Science lecturer Patcharaporn Tippayawat participated in the event’s oral and poster presentation sessions.
Leading the Khon Kaen team to Turkey was Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences lecturer Khaetthareeya Sutthanut.
