Unlucky gold shop in Chumphon robbed for third time

A robber made off with gold necklaces worth Bt1 million from a gold shop in Chumphon's Muang district yesterday.

The Yindee gold shop's owner Sudarat Inthararat said the robber used a knife to threaten her to give him the necklaces. He took around 200 necklaces with 50 baht weights.

The robber was thin and 170 centimetres tall, she said.  Police said they would watch images captured by four closed circuit cameras before issuing an arrest warrant.

The shop was robbed twice earlier and all the suspects arrested in those cases.
