Overseas sympathy
US Ambassador to Thailand Kristie Kenney and British Ambassador Asif Anwar Ahmad expressed their concerns over the current flooding, during separate visits to Energy Minister Pichai Naripthaphan today.
Both showed their sympathy to Thailand.
Kenney asked Pichai how Thailand is prepared in terms of power generating and energy supply. She also said that the US Embassy will quickly present the Bt3 million donation to the Thai Red Cross Society.
Ahmad also expressed Britain's readiness to allocate a fund, to finance any concrete disaster relief project.
