Farmville maker Zynga eyes billion dollar IP0
San Francisco - Online game maker Zynga announced the pricing for its imminent IPO Thursday. The maker of popular Facebook games like Farmville, Cityville and Words with Friends said it planned to sell up to 115 million shares for 10 dollars each, to rais
With the share offering representing about 12.9 per cent of the company, Zynga would be valued at around 9 billion dollars.
Zynga first filed its IPO plans in July when analysts had expected the company to be valued between 15 million dollars and 20 million dollars. However, the European debt crisis and market volatility forced the company to lower its price range. The shares come up for sale on Friday.//DPA
