Romney wins home state of Massachusetts
Washington - Republican presidential hopeful Mitt Romney notched a resounding win in his home state of Massachusetts Tuesday, broadcasters projected.
Romney, a former governor of the liberal north-eastern state, was declared the winner shortly after voting closed, based on exit polls. He had already been named the winner in Vermont and Virginia.
Rival Newt Gingrich also won his home state of Georgia as voters in 10 states weigh in on their choice of Republican to face President Barack Obama in November presidential elections.//DPA
