Frenchman nabbed with fake cards
A French man was arrested in Pattaya city along with 97 fake ATM/credit cards, police said yesterday.
Police found tourist Anthony Marc Christophe Claude, 24, acting suspicious while trying to withdraw cash at the Siam Commercial Bank branch on Pattaya New Road, so they presented themselves to search him, Claude then tried to run away but police nabbed him. They found 97 fake cards with a magnetic strip in the his bag. Police said if he had used all fake cards to withdraw money it could have taken tens of millions of baht.
