Chevron, Apico awarded petroleum production concessions
The Petroleum Committee of the Energy Ministry Wednesday awarded two production concessions to Chevron Thailand Exploration and Production Co and Apico (Korat) Co, which could generate about Bt13 billion for the country.
In the meeting chaired by Energy Ministry permanent secretary Norkun Sitthiphong, the committee said the concessions were approved after the exploration companies’ survey confirmed petroleum potential of the two fields.
