Red Bull heir may have taken cocaine
The doctor who conducted blood tests suggesting that Red Bull heir Vorayuth Yoovidhya might have used cocaine will be summoned for questioning Tuesday.
Vorayuth is believed to be behind the September 3 hit-and-run accident that killed Thong Lor policeman Pol Snr Sgt-Major Wichian Klanprasert.
Explaining that police had yet to receive a detailed report from the Office of Forensic Science, Thong Lor police station’s deputy chief Akkharawin Sukhonthawit said Monday that they expected the doctor to provide details on the sort of narcotic substance found. He said that though traces of a narcotic were found in the suspect’s blood, it does not necessarily mean he had taken drugs because some medicines can affect test results.
