Device helps elderly apply eye drops
Chiang Mai's Maharat Nakhon Chiang Mai Hospital yesterday unveiled a small research success - an eye shield to aid shaky-handed seniors in applying their medicinal eye drops.
Researcher and nurse Noppamas Utama said the innovation, which is made from a plastic bottle, helped the elderly apply eye drops properly, reducing complications and also helped them save money on medicine.
