Teenager kills mum in blind rage

Teenager kills mum in blind rage

A 14-year-old boy stabbed his mother to death and attacked his older sister after they scolded him yesterday.

Police said “Boy” (not his real name), a Matthayom 3 student in Bangkok’s Saphan Sung district, lost his temper after his mother, 50, scolded him for surfing the Net and told him to go to bed.
Apparently the scolding angered him so much that he decided to stab his mother in the back and later attack his 29-year-old sister.
Police said the suspect looked at them blankly when asked about the incident, only saying that many things had driven him to do this. The youngster’s father, who lived in a rented house nearby, said his daughter called him and he rushed over only to find Boy standing outside with the knife in his hand. The father said he had warned his wife and daughter to not berate Boy that much because he displayed signs of suppressed anger.
When Boy was younger, he showed signs of a “special-needs” kid, but appeared to have changed after undergoing treatment. Boy will be interrogated in the presence of relatives since he is a juvenile before pressing murder charges and having him undergo a mental test.
