Updated: Deputy Yala governor succumbs to injuries
Deputy Yala Governor Isara Thongthawat, who was severely injured in a bomb attack by insurgents in this southern border province Friday, has died, the provincial administration announced.
The ambush with a road-side bomb on Yala-Betong Road in Kasode village in Bangnang Sata district, also killed Yala clerk Chavalit Chailerk and severely injured a driver, Satopa Jehloh.
