Speed boat collision in Pattaya
Two speed boats collided Sunday afternoon 800 metres off Pattaya's famous island, Koh Larn, injuring 18 South Korean tourists.
The injured were taken to Pattaya Memorial Hospital and Bangkok Pattaya Hospital. Two of them are in serious condition: Myung Be Kin, 51, nearly lost both of his legs; and Gihwa Song, 62, lost one leg. Others suffered from minor injuries and shocks.
Twenty eight tourists were on the boats.
