The clash happened at 4 am when 50 troops and rangers surrounded Putoh village in Tambon Rusoh Ok in Rusoh district following a tip-off that some insurgents were having a meeting there. 
	The suspects opened fire at the authorities, leading to an exchange of gunfire for about 15 minutes. The authorities later found Yamadee Hayibaka died at the scene.
