Japan tops FDI list
Foreign direct investment (FDI) to Thailand reached Bt278.6 billion in the first half of this year, according to the Industry Ministry.
In the data submitted for the Cabinet's consideration today, investment from Japan was ranked the frist in terms of value and the number of projects - accounting for 54 per cent and 66 per cent, respectively.
Trailing behind is investment from Malaysia, Hong Kong, Singapore and the Netherlands.
