Schwarzenegger becomes victim of snowboarding death hoax
The rumours that former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger is dead following a snowboard accident in Switzerland have been revealed hoax.
Global Associated online, which broke the news, posted a message at the bottom of the site that read, “FAKE... THIS STORY IS 100% FAKE! This is an entertainment website, and this is a totally fake article based on zero truth and is a complete work of fiction for entertainment purposes!”
The false report saying that Schwarzenegger died in a snowboarding incident continues to make its way around the internet. Many have paid tributes to the actorturnedgovernor.
The website reported that the actor had died shortly after a snowboard accident during his vacation at the Zermatt ski resort in Switzerland with family and friends.
Witnesses indicated that he lost control of his snowboard and struck a tree at a high speed.
He was air lifted by ski patrol teams to a local hospital but, the report continued, it was believed that the actor died instantly from the impact of the crash.
