Two troops injured in Yala bomb attack
Yala - Two troops were injured when insurgents detonated a roadside bomb to ambush their patrol unit Wednesday.
The explosion occurred at 11:40 am on the road to Bacho village in Tambon Bannang Sata in Bannang Sata district.
The unit was patrolling the road on three motorcycles when insurgents detonated the bomb with a walkie-talkie.
Sgt Weera Khetchaturas, 34, and Pvt 1st Class Poonsak Khonlek, 23, were severely injured.
