Ombudsmen resolve to ask Constitutional Court to rule on Feb 2 poll
The three ombudsmen Thursday voted unanimously to forward a petition of a Thammasat lecture to the Constitutional Court to rule whether the February 2 election should be nullified, a source said.
The petition was submitted by Kittipong Kamolthamwong, a law lecturer of Thammasat.
The source said the petition was forwarded to the court in the afternoon and Rakkecha Chaechai, the spokesman of the Office of Ombudsmen, will hold a press conference on the issue at 10:30 am on Friday.
