Praekkasa landfill fire put out by 60-70 per cent: BMA official
The Bangkok Fire and Rescue Department has deployed 85 firefighters to help control the blaze at the Praekkasa landfill in Samut Prakan and managed to put out the fire by about 60 to 70 per cent, a deputy chief of the department said.
Surakiart Limcharoen, deputy director of the department, said the 85 Bangkok firefighters were dispatched in 14 units from 14 fire stations.
