Former ministers deny gambling

Two former Pheu Thai cabinet ministers have denied that they quarrelled while being detained at a military base.

A Thai media report alleged that former deputy interior minister Chuchart Harnsawat and former science and technology minister Woravat Auapinyakul argued after one of them lost about Bt4 million while gambling in a card game during their detention in a military house.
Woravat said that they weren’t quarrelling or gambling – in fact, living together in the military house had only made them closer.

An Army fair will be held to promote reconciliation at a housing estate opposite a Red Guard radio station in Pathum Thani today – not on Thursday, as reported earlier. The Nation apologises for the mistake.
