	Sombat told the court that he objected the military&#39;s detention request, saying he had been cooperative with the officials and he had promised not to incite unrest. He added that he had to take care of his daughter as well.&nbsp;</div>

	Sombat faces the charges of inciting unrest via the Internet and failing to report to the National Council for Peace and Order (NCPO) as ordered.</div>

	Police told the court that they needed to conduct further investigations as to whether Sombat had violated the Computer Crime Act by putting unlawful content into the computer network.</div>

Military Court approves Sombat's detention

The Military Court on Thursday approved further detention of red-shirt activist Sombat Boonngamanong at the Bangkok Remand Prison for 12 days pending more investigations against him.
