2 men sought over Suthin killing

Police plan to seek arrest warrants for another two suspects allegedly linked with the killing of protest leader Suthin Taratin, who was shot dead while leading a rally against advance voting outside Wat Sriam on BangnaTrat Road in January.

Assistant National Police chief Pol Lt-Colonel Chaiyong Keeratikachorn said Monday that more suspects were identified after police inspected four 11mm cartridges. Two of the cartridges were found in the pickup truck Suthin was riding. Police have also inspected the bullet wound in the hand of another passenger in the same vehicle. “Whoever possesses these guns would be a suspect in this case,” Chaiyong said.
