KFC to close outlets in deep South
Three Kentucky Fried Chicken, or KFC, shops in Yala and Pattani may be set to close next week, but the reasons are unclear. KFC Thailand has declined to talk about the matter, and would only say that the shops were still in business yesterday.
There were also reports that officials in the deep South tried to convince bosses of the shops to change the decision to close the shops on July 15. A KFC source said all staff would receive compensation and some would be transferred to branches in other provinces.
