Orlando Bloom takes swing at Justin Bieber
Los Angeles - US actor Orlando Bloom took a swing at pop star Justin Bieber at a restaurant on the Mediterranean island of Ibiza early Wednesday morning, according to a video posted by the entertainment website TMZ.
The video shows Bloom trying to strike the pop star in the face and Bieber's bodyguard deflecting most of the punch.
It is not clear what led to the scuffle.
TMZ said rumors of Justin Bieber's partying with Orlando Bloom's ex-wife Miranda Kerr in 2012 and Bloom's hanging out with Bieber's on-again-off-again girlfriend Selena Gomez may have caused some bad blood between the two.
Bieber left the restaurant after the incident, according to the report.
The Canadian pop star is currently on formal probation for two years after egging his neighbor's house in January, and is scheduled for a court hearing on August 5 in Miami, Florida to face charges of resisting arrest, drunk driving and other traffic charges.
In Toronto, he has also faced charges of a December assault against a limousine driver after leaving a Toronto nightclub.
