421 Thais await return from Libya
As of yesterday, Thai authorities had brought 345 Thais back home from violence-plagued Libya. However, some 421 other evacuees are still waiting to fly back to Thailand.
In the face of continued unrest, 766 Thais have fled Libya since late last month and moved to neighbouring Tunisia to wait for their return to Thailand.
At present, there are 576 Thais in Libya. Of that number, 160 have expressed their wish to continue working and living there.
