Two rangers injured in Yala blast
Two paramilitary rangers were slightly injured in a roadside bomb attack in Than To district in Yala Monday morning.
The explosion at 7am in tambon Ban Hae wounded Lance Corporal Chanchai Yakij and volunteer ranger Montri Kongmongkol, as the eight-ranger team led by Chanchai patrolled the area on foot to provide teacher protection.
Police blamed separatists for the attack as part of ongoing unrest in the region.
