Damrongtham Centre coordinates for villagers to get electricity
Prime Minister Prayuth Chan-ocha Friday night thanked officials of the Damrongtham Centre for receiving public complaints and coordinating with agencies concerned to solve the problems.
"I must express my sincere thanks to the Ministry of Interior, the Provincial Governors, civil servants, the police, the military, and the private sector for their cooperation and facilitation in past activities," Prayuth said during his weekly TV programme.
He cited the case of villagers of Nong Sarai Subdistrict in Don Chedi District, Suphanburi Province as an example of coordination by the centre.
"Their problem was that they had insufficient electricity – so the Electricity Authority of Don Chedi District was contacted. The end result was the Electricity Authority allocating a budget to expand the electricity grid in that area.
"It is estimated that the work will be completed by the end of this September."
