Foreign Ministry and Thailand Post on Tuesday introduced the "Passport Speed Post," a new mailing system for passports which will be speedier than the one currently in use.
The new move will see a passport applicant charged Bt60 while under the existing system, he pays Bt40 for EMS mailing.
The passport will arrive at the sender’s address within three days for Bangkok and suburbs while passports sent by EMS will arrive within five days for Bangkok and suburbs and seven days for other provinces.
