Drugs found in pumpkins

Kanjana Srijuisai, 37, was arrested at a border checkpoint in Ubon Ratchathani after returning from Laos. Noticing her acting suspiciously, customs agents pressed hard and found out that she had wheeled in some extra luggage and large pumpkins on a pushcart. Three packs of marijuana weighing 1,145 grams 1,145 and 2,000 yaba tablets were found in the pumpkins. The suspect admitted that she got Bt15,000 from a man based in Chon Buri’s Laem Chabang district to bring in the drugs.
