Thailand, Mynamar agrees to set up joint panel to repatriate refugees: Prayut
The Thai and Myanmar governments have agreed to set up a joint working committee to make preparations to repatriate Myanmar refugees, Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha said Friday.
This collaboration will also be extended to include the UNHCR, Prayut added.
“Both governments need to talk among themselves first, before we take the matter to international organization,” the prime minister said.
