Korean woman's body found, but search continues for missing man
The body of South Korean woman, missing after a speedboat accident off Krabi on Sunday, was found yesterday, but the search for a Korean man was continuing.
The woman, identified as An Sun Yang, 28, and a man, identified as Go Min Woo, 31, went missing after the “Sea Star 29” speedboat that carried them and 40 other tourists to a Phuket pier crashed into a fishing boat in the Andaman Sea.
Phuket marine police inspector Pol Lt Col Panya Chaichana said the search by three patrol boats yesterday covered Koh Phi Phi, Koh Kai and Koh Yao, while Krabi marine police inspector Pol Lt Col Chaisit Khancharoen said the search within 4-5 sea miles was slowed by high waves.
