FDA seeks to improve drug bill
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has already made a decision on how the new bill on pharmaceuticals can be improved.
The changes were proposed after the draft bill drew stiff opposition from thousands of pharmacists, who gathered at the Public Health Ministry earlier this month, to list what they considered were flaws in the bill. FDA secretary-general Boonchai Somboonsuk said yesterday that the proposed improvementswould be forwarded to Public Health Minister Rajata Rajatanavin for consideration.
