Buddhist man killed, wife injured in drive-by shooting in Narathiwat
Muslim insurgents attacked a Buddhist couple in Narathiwat's Rue Soh district Monday evening, killing the husband and seriously injuring the wife.
Police said the couple were riding their motorcycle to return home after work when two insurgents on a motorcycle drove by and shot them at about 5:20 pm.
The husband was identified as Charoen Supcharoenkul, 62, and the wife as Jin Supcharoenkul, 56.
